No-Churn Strawberry Coconut Ice Cream
Looking for a cool treat you can whip up in less than 5 minutes? All you need is a food processor and some frozen and pantry staples and you can make this refreshing ice cream.
My granddaughter's favorite fruit is strawberries and this ice cream is a great way to give her a treat without tons of sugar or added preservatives. Here is how simple it is. Place the following ingredients in the bowl of you food processor:
- 10 oz. frozen strawberries
- 3/4 cup coconut cream
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. honey
Process ingredients until smooth, about 2 minutes. Serve immediately or put in a covered container and freeze. If frozen, allow the ice cream to thaw for 10 - 15 minutes to soften slightly before serving.
Switch it up and add frozen mango or mixed berries in place of strawberries. Don't have honey? Substitute agave nectar or maple syrup.
